I am a child psychiatrist in Denver who specializes in treating a variety of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. Visiting a psychiatrist can be intimidating, particularly if you are a parent trying to get help for your child or a young adult navigating mental health treatment for the first time. When kids and teens struggle with these issues, they can present with challenging behaviors or have difficulty describing their feelings, which can be confusing for their families. I love working with families in establishing a diagnosis and appropriate multidisciplinary treatment plan, which may include psychotropic medication.

I completed Medical School at Jefferson Medical College, Psychiatry Residency at University of Colorado Hospital, and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at the University of Colorado Hospital with a focus on working with children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorders and Developmental Disabilities.

I am board certified in both Adult and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, which means I completed a fellowship and have expertise in prescribing medications to young children & adolescents. I believe in incorporating complementary treatments such as supplements into my approach and perform genetic testing to specifically tailor the treatment to the patient.

I immigrated to the US as a child and am passionate about working with people who have dealt with early difficulties, immigration, ESL, and cross-cultural challenges. I believe working through our challenges can unlock beautiful strengths.
